Chris Rourke is a bass player and educator based in Melbourne, Australia. With a career spanning over a 15 years, Chris has made a significant impact on the music scene, both locally and internationally.
He has toured extensively, including two tours in China with an Australian orchestra featuring Broadway singers from America. In 2019, Christopher performed with the blues band Rhythm X Revival, earning recognition as Australian Blues Performer of the Year and reaching the finals of the International Blues Competition in Memphis, Tennessee.
Christopher's versatility is evident in his collaborations with UK artist Z-Star and ARIA award-winning artist Max Sharam. Despite challenges like the Melbourne lockdowns, Chris and his band Riding Northbound released five singles that resonated with listeners nationwide.
Currently, Chris plays with Shaun Klinger and the Heavy Kicks and is also a member Reggae band Uncle B, lead by Indonesian artist Bob Simon. He is also a member of the Australian Van Morrison Show, contributing his bass and vocal skills to their performances of Van Morrison's classics.
With his passion for music and diverse skills, Chris Rourke continues to captivate audiences wherever he performs.
